Chizuko Yamada, LL.M. heads the Japanese practice of WK Advocaten.

Chizuko Yamada has many years of experience in working at the Japan Desk of a law firm as well as at the Japan Desk of KPMG in the Netherlands. She speaks Japanese and English.

Chizuko regularly lectures in Japanese at seminars on employment law topics in the Netherlands. Moreover, she regularly publishes Japanese articles on employment law topics in the Netherlands and Japan.

Chizuko was educated in the USA, Japan and the Netherlands and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree. She also holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Public International Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands. More specifically, she focused on gender equality in EU employment law.
